Meet Dr. Russ Trapnell
Dr. Trapnell was born and raised in Arizona and loves living in the Southwest. He attended dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, graduating in 2006, and finished his Orthodontic Residency at Jacksonville University in 2009. He has lived in Albuquerque since 2009 and is a huge fan of New Mexico’s weather!
Dr. Trapnell is somewhat of a perfectionist and finds great satisfaction in helping teeth move into exactly the right position for both function and aesthetics. Perhaps even more than that, he loves watching his patients’ self-confidence increase as their smiles improve with each visit.
He enjoys collaborating with leading orthodontists across the nation to discuss complex treatment, and continually seeks out ways to improve patient care by implementing the most current, effective orthodontic technologies.
Outside the office, Dr. Trapnell loves spending time with his wife and 6 children. Outdoor activities are his favorite; He enjoys riding dirt bikes, hiking, going to the lake, and camping. He also loves listening to and performing all kinds of music, and plays the piano and guitar. He is happiest when he is helping people, and would love to see you in the office.
